Description: Gawad Gentri Hiraya-Madrasah is a recognition program under the Madrasah Education Program (MEP) that celebrates the achievements, dedication, and innovations of educators and partner institutions who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education in the division.
The word "Hiraya," which means "vision" or "aspiration" in Filipino, symbolizes the dreams and hopes of the Muslim Filipino community for quality, inclusive, and culturally respectful education. Through this award, the project honors outstanding MEP implementers, Madrasah teachers (Asatidz) and leaders who exemplify excellence, commitment, and leadership in promoting the goals of the Madrasah Education Program.
Gawad Gentri Hiraya-Madrasah serves as both a celebration of success and an inspiration for continuous improvement—uplifting the identity, dignity, and educational rights of Muslim learners while strengthening peace, understanding, and unity through education.
